I have contemplated breast augmentation since my teen years, and as a near-thirty mother of three, decided that it was finally time to take the step.  After careful research from a variety of web resources and networking sites for plastic surgery, I chose Pousti Plastic Surgery as one of my final choices.  It was half a world away, but after talking with Dr. Pousti via the internet for a consult, I made up my mind.  Dr. Pousti and his staff helped me to arrange a surgery that would fit my schedule, they provided hotel references, directions to nearby pharmacies, and more.  I flew in for the surgery, and it went more smoothly than I expected.  Dr. Pousti and his office are a well-oiled machine, and the revolving door of patients never closes.  The waiting room was full at all times, and I even had the chance to meet another client who flew in from Europe at one point!

My schedule was very precisely planned around my flight times, and as it turned out, Dr. Pousti ended up performing my surgery on his birthday.  How’s that for service!?!  I stayed for a week after, and since there were no complications, was cleared to leave after the follow up visit.

Now, here’s the part where this will sound unbelievable.  The surgery was really not that painful at all.  Sure, there was some swelling and pressure in the days right after, and yes, it is mandatory that you not lift heavy items for a few weeks, but I expected FAR worse than how it turned out.  This is probably partly due to the selection of a small implant size, that would naturally fit my body.  Dr. Pousti did EXACTLY what I asked.  In fact, I brought in pictures of women that were pre-surgery and said “I want to look like this.” I had received more than a few responses from other doctors I consulted with who urged me to go larger, but Dr. Pousti simply discussed with me the ways he could make it happen for me.  Part of why I selected his practice is the number of “petite sized” implant patients that he has helped.  It was very important to me that my breasts look absolutely natural and fit my body type, and he delivered!  I am absolutely thrilled with my very small (32B), perfectly sized breasts, and since surgery I have resumed all of my favorite physical activities.  Among the most important of the benefits I have found is that padded bras are things of the past.  I am completely comfortable in any swimsuit, dress, or going braless.  I can now buy bras based strictly on comfort and not shape.  I could not be happier!

Was the entire experience absolutely perfect?  Of course not!  My implants took a long time to drop or lower, and they’re still a tad higher than I’d like for a completely natural look.   I had one stitch develop an abscess (infection), and I had some swelling of veins under the implants for a few weeks.  However, Dr. Pousti and staff responded promptly to any and all of my post-operative concerns, and they continue to check in with me regularly, though I am nearly a year post-op!

I mention these things to point out that even though not everything went perfectly, I am perfectly happy with my results, and would not trade this choice for anything.  I am 100% satisfied that flying in for surgery with Dr. Pousti was the right choice for me, and thus far, all of my family and friends agree that the results are stunning.  I have had a number of people ask me for referrals, which I gladly provide.  Making a choice about plastic surgery, and who you trust to perform it, is not easy, but rest assured that Dr. Pousti is an excellent choice for anyone.  I would return again in a heartbeat should I desire or need any more surgeries, and I hope that this rather lengthy testimonial helps other patients feel more at ease about their choice!
