Liposuction Testimonials From Dr. Pousti’s San Diego Cosmetic Surgery Patients
Breast Augmentation / Tummy Tuck / Liposuction :
After having 7 kids I decided that I wanted to change my life and lose all the weight I had put on over the years. I did really good and lost about 70lbs. Imagine my disappointment, however, when I realized that it seemed almost all in vain. I didn’t see much of a difference because I had so much loose skin hanging. In fact, I thought I looked worse than when I had all the fat! I finally got the courage to start calling around and looking into a tummy tuck. After speaking to a few Dr’s I knew I had found the right one when I walked into Dr. Pousti’s office. The staff is fantastic and has always made me feel comfortable. Dr. Pousti is sincerely caring. You just know that you’ve made the right choice when you meet him. I was so pleased with my tummy tuck that I went ahead and had an arm lift, lipo and breast augmentation!! I have no regrets and the only advice I can give to anyone is to not wait and waste anymore time! I feel like he has given me a whole new life! Anyone would be shocked if they saw my before pictures!

My experience with Dr. Pousti and his staff has changed me forever. I had come to a point in my life that I had tomake a decision. I eat healthy, I exercise and no matter how lowe my body fat was, I could not loose weight in my “problem areas”. Ladies I think you know what I’m talking about. Genetics are evil in my family. I was unhappy with the way my clothes fit, the way I looked in a bathing suit and was tired of NEVER being able to find a good fit in a pair of jeans. I had done lots of reading and talking to people about plastic surgery in general. I spent a good 8 months thinking about it. I made the jump and started scheduling consultations. I had seen 2 doctors prior to my consult with Dr. Pousti and had just about given up. I had my consultation with Dr. Pousti and that is when I know he was the right doctor. He was kind, truthful and spent alot of time with me. I decided to have the surgery that minute. I was not leaving his office untilI had a surgery date. Dr. Pousti walked my through the whole process to make sure that things went smoothly and they did. The nurses were fabulous, the office staff was great! I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. It has been almost 2 months after surgery and I look and feel great. It has changed the way I think about myself on the outside but more importantly on the inside. Thank you Dr. Pousti.

Dear Dr. Pousti -
I want to thank you for my new found self confidence. Prior to the surgical procedure, I often avoided social settings and had a fear of running into old friends who only knew me thin. Now I find myself excited at the prospect of running into people and having a visit without feeling self conscious about my appearance. I did not realize how much hiding I had been doing.
My quest for less neck and shoulder pain, as well as hoping to end the poor posture, rashes and rutted shoulders led me to explore breast reduction. I am also the youngest of three sisters and the other two are breast cancer survivors, so whether it is 100% medically proven or not, I wanted to have less mass for concern.
Two different friends recommended that I visit you. So, although I had a full authorization from my HMO for a different doctor, I requested a second opinion and I’m so pleased that I did! From the first phone call to schedule an appointment, I realized you had a staff that truly cares about the complete well-being of its patients. Your office is light and cheerful and my first encounter with you was so respectful. I remember on my first visit I told you that it didn’t matter much to me how I looked under my clothes; as long as I looked better when I was dressed. Your response was that it mattered to you and that you would make me look and feel beautiful.
The folks at the Surgical Center were very warm and helpful. I’d had concerns about having the procedure outside of a hospital, but now am glad for the personal care that I received at the Center.
Since my surgery I have found myself with more energy and my years of neck and shoulder pain from the weight have ended. And to walk into a store and purchase a pretty bra without steel reinforcements is quite an experience.
“Thank you” to you and your staff for giving me exceptional care. I gladly recommend you to any of my friends considering cosmetic surgery. I know it is a cliché, but truly, my only regret is that I didn’t do this year ago.

“I am a medical malpractice attorney, and recently had liposuction performed by Dr. Tom Pousti. Because of my professional experience, I’ve seen the good doctors, the bad and some ugly results on people who come to me as a last resort. They should have gone to Dr. Pousti first, for the reasons I did, and you should.
Some plastic surgeons, in Beverly Hills, tout themselves as “doctors to the stars”. I think a much more impressive byline would be “doctor to the lawyers”. Many a doctor would politely decline to perform an elective procedure on a lawyer for obvious reasons. Dr. Pousti, however, can boast of many lawyers who are his satisfied patients. And let me tell you, it takes a very confident and competent doctor to cut one of us!
Dr. Pousti is more than just competent. He is the very best plastic surgeon. He has top training, experience, employs cutting edge (no pun intended!), technical skills and performs artistry (a requirement as a plastic surgeon). Equally important, he has a wonderful bedside manner and he truly cares about his patients and their satisfaction. His staff is professional, as is the Grossmont surgical center where procedures are performed.
Liposuction, performed by a skilled plastic surgeon, is really “body sculpture, and can erase years of fat & flab which resists diet and exercise. For the first time in many years, after numerous diets, countess exercise programs, aerobic classes and personal trainers, my paunch and love handles are gone! And it only took one morning. My only question is why did I wait so long? The answer is: I didn’t know Dr. Pousti earlier. Thanks Dr. Tom Pousti. ”

I am a 24 year old women who recently had liposuction done to my abdomen, flanks and back area, and I can not begin to tell you how EXTREMELY happy I am with my results. During my high school years I really wasn’t to concerned about my weight, I figured I could lose a couple inches in my waist but I didn’t stress to much about it. It wasn’t until I joined the Marine Corps in 1999 that I began to really look at myself and realize that I wasn’t too happy with the way my body looked. I had nice legs, arms and even chest but my waist….well I just didn’t have one! When I put my uniform on I always felt “Fat”. I felt that I didn’t portray that Female Marine image. You know that slim, fit, small waist image? For years I would work out and try to watch what I ate, but I could never get the waist I wanted. As Marines we are responsible for maintaining a certain weight and body fat and I always met that criteria but I still felt overweight. I even went on the Atkins diet (which was a great diet) and exercised more then ever, but still no waist! Finally after talking with my mother and boyfriend, of 2 years, I decided to look into liposuction. I wasn’t too fond of the idea since I never had any type of surgery done to me, let alone be put to sleep for surgery and the thought of “Surgery” scared me. Yet I did my homework and found that this might just be my answer.
After about a month of research I narrowed my decision down to two doctors. Dr. Pousti and…well…we will call him “The other doctor’s office”. They both checked out great and met all of “MY” requirements. I figured I would go and visit both of them and make my decision then. I first visited with “The other doctor’s office” and found it to be a very nice environment. To my surprise though the staff didn’t seem too friendly. I almost felt like they were rushing me along with everything. The doctor did see me but he too made me feel like he was rushing me along. I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t even get to ask all the questions I wanted to ask. After my visit the only thing I was really happy with was how much the procedure was going to cost me. A few days later I visited with Dr. Pousti’s office and from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. It almost felt like I had known the staff for years. They made sure I was comfortable and encouraged me ask any questions I may have had. Even though there were other patients in the office that day I almost felt like I was the only one there. They really made me feel important. When I met with Dr. Pousti he took his time to really focus on my problem area and answer any questions I had. Towards the end of my visit the staff had informed me of what my procedures would cost me and I must admit at first I wasn’t sure, since “The other doctor’s office” was a bit less in price. That night I went home and talked it over with my mother and boyfriend and we all came to the same conclusion. I (we) would rather pay the extra few dollars to a doctor and staff who really care, take the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable, then to deal with a doctor and staff who seem to rush me along and not really care why I’m there.
The very next day I was back in Dr. Pousti’s office booking my surgery appointment. Every time I came by his office the staff would great me with smiles and some of them already knew who I was! They all made sure all my questions were answered and I that I always felt comfortable. The day of my surgery as I laid on the bed, going into my nice deep sleep before my procedure began, Dr. Pousti held my hand and said, ” Don’t you worry we will take care of you, just dream of being on the beach in the Bahamas!” and with that I knew I made the right decision in not only doing this operation but with choosing Dr. Pousti as my doctor. It has been 6 months since my surgery and I can’t not even put into words the happiness my surgery has brought me. I am now look in the mirror with confidence and smiling too! I wear my Marine Corps uniform with more pride then ever. Let me tell you taking all my uniforms in to be tailored because they were all to big… HA! That was the biggest smile ever! The best part of it all is that everyone can tell the differences!
On a final note I would say to anyone doing any type of surgery that they need to not only look at the price of the surgery but the environment as well. Remember you want to feel secure, welcome, comfortable and happy with not only the doctor but the staff too. They should all make you feel like your important, cause in reality…you are! Dr. Pousti’s office made me feel all of these feels and that is the biggest reason I chose him over all the other doctors in the San Diego area.
Thank you so much to Dr Pousti and his staff for not only making me look better in my every day clothes but in my uniform as well. I am now not only a better person but a better Marine too!!!! You have all made me a much happier person. I can’t wait for summer to come to show off my new body! I have already recommended your office to friends and even family members and will continue to do so even when I leave the San Diego area. Thank you again and you will all be in my thoughts and prayers now and forever!

Breast Augmentation/Breast lift/Tummy Tuck/Liposuction:
After years of dressing to camouflage my floppy breasts and saggy belly, and of having to exercise in long loose shirts and full support bras, and of pulling pillows up against my stomach when I was lying on my side (to hide the skin and flab beside me that was my constant sleeping companion), and of swatting away my partner’s hands when attempting to “caress” that part of my body – I finally decided to really do something about it. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast enhancement, and some side liposuction. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself.
I am and have always been very athletic – walking, swimming, hiking, crunches, pushups, etc., and yet while my muscles are and were taut… the skin over the muscles, that had originally held all of my extra weight (mostly my breasts and belly), just stayed there. Strange as it sounds, the more weight I lost (35 lbs recently, but years ago 65 lbs after pregnancy) the worse my front side looked. I was and am at my ideal weight, yet my breasts were flat and hung down without any real mass to them, and the skin on my belly skin was marred with stretch marks which extended both over and under my natural “waste” line. When wearing anything other than granny underwear, the underwear would simply roll under my belly and stay there. And, although this is kind of personal it probably applies to at least some of you considering the procedure, I had a pooch of fat over “that” area… the pubic hair area. Nothing I did could get rid of the skin, the scars, and the sagging that started at my breasts and continued down my front side.
On my first visit, Dr. Pousti asked then really listened to my requests. I knew what I wanted done. I wanted all of my loose skin and flab removed, and nice natural B cup breasts with the fullness in the bottom, not the top. I brought in pictures of the big No-Nos, such as those huge bulbous breasts sitting on top of chests looking like hard immobile rocks, and I brought in pictures of natural looking breasts (some of which were the “before” pictures in Dr. Pousti’s albums). I brought in pictures of women with flat stomachs. Dr. Pousti was very patient with me and explained everything about each procedure. He kindly suggested/insisted that I come in and talk with other patients who had undergone the same procedures. On several more visits, I came in and talked privately with other women who had been through the various procedures. Every single patient I talked to had nothing but good words for and about Dr. Pousti and every single patient was happy with their results. Every visit with Dr. Pousti and his staff was positive and personal, and I never, ever felt like just another patient nor a dollar sign.
The week before surgery I was very, very excited and very, very scared. Scared that I would come out a surgical nightmare… what if my breasts were too high, too fake looking or lopsided… what if I ended up with a horrid scars under my breasts or on my belly or had lumps of fat here and there that the doctor couldn’t get rid of… what if I got infections… what if I ended up with ugly puckers on the ends of the scars… what if the results of the surgery were such that I STILL had to hide my body while naked??? Two days before my surgery was scheduled I almost canceled. I was a mess and, well, I was a big-old-baby (or perhaps a different “B” word would be a more accurate description, depending on who you ask). However, the feelings passed and I had surgery as planned. I woke up and it was as if the good-fairy had waived her magic wand over me. I could not be happier, and none, not one, of my pre-surgery fears came to fruition.
I now have a perfect set of natural looking full size B breasts, a completely flat stomach and a belly button of perfection! I wear a bikini (in public), can wear low-rise pants and shorts with tank tops, and can tuck in my shirts without seeing the usual middle-aged mom “tri-fold” (you know, bulge from boobs followed by bulge above the belt, followed by bulge below the belt). I can look down and SEE my pubic area – even when sitting!!! Please feel free to look at the pictures on the web site (I’m in the bikini “after” shot), but keep in mind that the pictures alone can not tell you how much my self-esteem has changed, or how much I now enjoy putting clothes on, or how much I now enjoy looking in the mirror every morning, or how much I love not having to grab something to cover myself up when naked so no one would see my embarrassing body.
The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing that I would say to any woman considering the procedure is to realize that as you are talking to those of us who have gone through the procedure and who are (all of us) giddy with our new bodies and boosted body image – is to remind us to tell you about the surgery itself and the recovery. The actual surgery is a breeze from the patient’s standpoint. Everyone at the surgery center is sweet as can be and understanding, and you really won’t remember much about the ride home. The next day, however, is a different story. When the meds wear off – holy cow – it hurts ferociously. (Take the pain meds before you feel the excruciating pain come back.) The first three weeks are very, very, very painful – more than I had expected. You have to sleep sitting up with pillows behind you and under your legs for the first two to three weeks, then you have to lay flat on your back for another few weeks. You can’t stand up completely straight for many weeks. You have to be helped to get out of bed for the first several days. You will have disgusting drainage tubes sticking out of you which can pinch and pull, and when the Dr. removes them, it really hurts bad! But, as with childbirth, you sort of forget about it because you have something so special and so fantastic that the pain fades from your memory. With childbirth you have the miracle of a new and beautiful baby. With Dr. Pousti’s surgery, you have the miracle of a new and beautiful body. It is well worth it, and the pain just passes from memory. Yes, the recovery is slow, slow, slow – but then you wake up one day and find you are back to normal. Two weeks ago (at 7 weeks post surgery) I still couldn’t completely stand up straight, couldn’t walk more than a few blocks, and was certain that I would never be back to participating in athletics. Then, during my 7th and 8th week I recovered so fast and so completely that just two days ago, at nine weeks post tummy-tuck, breast lift, breast enhancement and liposuction – I successfully completed an eight-mile mountain hike. I’m back to doing everything I was doing before surgery. So, if you have the tummy-tuck with or without other procedures – be patient, baby yourself for the first two months, relax and it will all fall into place – and you will be happier than you can imagine.
Oh. The only other downfall is that you will need new clothes. Bummer. You’ll have to shop for new pants and jeans. Tee shirts and spaghetti strap tops. Shorts without pleats. Bathing suits. You will have to donate your long and loose fitting shirts and your pleated trousers (as you will have nothing left to fill in those pleats anymore). You have to start borrowing clothes from your high school or college-age daughters or nieces. You may have to go to Victoria’s Secret. And (after a full 6 weeks, so don’t bother thinking you will even consider it before then), you will have to fend off copious amounts of attention that your husband or partner will shower you with. You will have to “suffer” through the daily compliments from co-workers, friends, family and strangers on the street, such as, “Have you lost weight?”, “Are you working out?”, “My god, you look great!”. Lastly, though loath to admit it… before my surgery, not in my craziest dreams would I have imagined that a rude cat-call from a construction worker (one, that had it been made toward my daughter, would have made me seethe with anger) would later secretly make me smile in awe that I actually somehow looked attractive enough to warrant such rude behavior!
Dr. Pousti is the best. His staff is the best. His work is the best. I never, ever felt like just another patient. His staff was professional and treated me with respect (which isn’t easy when you are standing naked in front of the doctor and staff, with all of the flab and skin that you have spent years trying to hide just hanging out for inspection). I never ever felt in any way that Dr. Pousti ever touched me in an inappropriate way, nor that my privacy was disrespected. I have come in for multiple post op visits and he spends as much time and consideration with me as with any of my pre-surgery visits. He is a truly kind and thoughtful person, as well as an awesome surgeon and artist. I strongly recommend Dr. Pousti, and would be happy to speak with or show you the results of his skill in reshaping this middle-aged mom’s body into a very nice figure.

Breast Augmentation/ Liposuction :
Halo! I am a 31-year-old male who just recently had lipo of the abdomen, flanks, and lower back. I cannot express how pleased I am with Dr. Pousti’s work. To make a long story short, I had battled, since I was a youth, stubborn pockets of fat that seemed to be resistant to every type of exercise and diet. Even as a bodybuilder I just could not get rid of my gut, no matter how much cardio and dieting I did. It took me seven years to finally make the decision to have the surgery done, as I was in grad school out of state. I can tell you that within that time I had consulted with Doctors all throughout the L.A. area, but when I finally met Dr. Pousti I knew I had found the right doctor, for two reasons. First, he actually took the time to be very honest with me about what to expect and what not to expect. He listened to my concerns and answered every question I asked him with great honesty and integrity. Secondly, he did not come off as a businessman, but rather a doctor whose first priority was the quality of his work. His fees were very reasonably priced compared to other doctors I had seen who were quick to discuss their much higher than average fees up front. All in all the quality of Dr. Pousti’s work speaks for itself and is very reasonably priced. Not to mention, he is just an all around first class professional.
The actual surgery was a very positive experience. I was so impressed with how professional and caring his surgical staff was in the surgery room. They made me feel right at home. Before I knew it the surgery was over and I was on the road to recovery. Dr. Pousti also called me that night to discuss the surgery and how I felt, which was greatly appreciated. It is not a short trek from L.A. to San Diego but all the trips for the initial surgery to the follow-ups are all worth it. His office staff is especially nice and always very helpful. Lastly, let me just say how important it is when choosing a surgeon to choose wisely. I have heard many unfortunate stories from individuals who had substandard cosmetic surgery. If I were to do it all over again I would have no reservations about selecting Dr. Pousti.

I am a patient of Dr. Pousti and I live very close to the Philadelphia area. I had my procedure back in Sept. of 2001….I do and have in the past recommended Dr. Pousti to all my friends and family….his work is impeccable. He has the ability to look at the body with an artist over-all view to create shape, contour and balance. I found him to be soft spoken, extremely professional and polite before, during and after my procedure and my many office visits. He has a wonderful bedside manner and so does his office staff. They made me feel comfortable and at home, like a member of the family.
Liposuction: Stigall’s Story
After several years of fighting weight gain associated with a medical condition, my supportive wife suggested I research Liposuction as an alternative weight loss solution. I’d always considered liposuction to be a technique used by the idle rich, and “cheating”. If you couldn’t lose the weight yourself through exercise and diet, then you weren’t trying.
Six years ago, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. For those of you unfamiliar with the disease, the thyroid gland is a master control for your entire metabolism – similar to the gas pedal on an automobile. If the thyroid isn’t working, every part of your metabolism slows down.
To give you an idea of the severity of the symptoms, at the worst point I would call my wife to pick me up from work. By 3pm I was entirely drained of energy, and had even fallen asleep while driving the car home a few times.
The weight gain was extraordinary. I went from a 41 year old, muscular and fit man at 192 pounds to an “egg with legs” at 238 pounds over a period of eight months. Prior to the onset of the hypothyroidism, my workout schedule was two hours long (weights + aerobics) three times per week. Other physical changes included shoe size (9 ½ to size 10), waist size (34 to 38 inches) and neck size (15 ½ to 17 ½ inches).
I was unable to lose even ½ of the gained weight. When your metabolism is slow, it’s very difficult to lose any weight. I can be a very determined and stubborn individual (ask my loving wife) but I was unable to lose more than 1-2 pounds per a month. My doctor suggested I should be happy with this – it might be the best I could hope for. My perception of taking 20-40 months (2 to 3 years) to lose the additional pounds gained over eight months was depressing.
Jump in time to five years after the diagnosis…I’ve lost about 15 pounds, and stabilized at a plateau where I can’t loose any additional weight. I’m still considered “obese” on any measurement scale you care to name.
My wife and I have been married for over 23 years, and I consider her my best friend. She finally asked if I had looked into liposuction. My response was a flat no. I had several reasons for the denial:
1. I firmly believe that any gains must be earned. I was trying steadily to lose weight, and liposuction would be the admittance of defeat – I was unable to lose the weight by diet and exercise alone.
2. My perception of liposuction was “surgery of the stars”, where idle rich people paid to have their bodies sculpted according to their whims. I was not a big fan of the procedure, as you can tell. .
3. I’ve never had any surgery done in my life, and the idea of the process was chilling.
My wife encouraged me to look into the process. My friends call me a “data digger”, so I began digging up information on liposuction. Through the discovery process I found a local surgeon (Dr. Pousti), who was not only active on the web to answer Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQs), but also sponsored meetings where people interested in cosmetic surgery could attend and talk with former patients about the surgery in question. You could actually talk to someone who had gone through same procedure you were considering, under the same doctor. I made an appointment with Dr. Pousti, bringing my medical history and research with me. Dr. Pousti started the interview process by stating about 80% of the people who meets with him are not good candidates for the procedure. After explaining my medical history and research to Dr. Pousti, I asked him if I was a “good” candidate for liposuction. I was prepared to walk away if the expert’s opinion was negative on the likelihood of benefiting from liposuction. Dr. Pousti explained the effects of the liposuction would not be as pronounced since my metabolism was slower than normal. I told him that even 5-10 additional pounds off would be more than the last 2 years of exercise had managed to remove. I knew my hypothyroidism would decrease the benefits of the liposuction, but Dr. Pousti told me that one waist size (38″ to 36″) and perhaps 10 pounds would be realistic expectations in my case. Final measurements would need to wait until about 3 months had passed. This would allow for all of the swelling to go down. After we talked some more about the process, I elected to go through with the surgery in late December 2004.
The first few days after the surgery are a blur. I woke up wearing the compression garment, required after the surgery. For the first week, I was under instructions to not remove the compression garment and I couldn’t shower. Baby wipes were used to keep my odor level within tolerable limits. I had major bruising near the locations used for the micro cannula (like a straw for the liposuction) to enter, and I was very sore. The first week I was on liquid foods, antibiotics and pain pills. By day 3, walking helped the pain quite a bit, and my nurse (aka the supportive wife) insisted on getting my walking exercise in worthwhile pursuits such as grocery shopping and getting the mail. She also developed a great right-hand grip from helping me out of the bed. My abdomen felt like one big bruise – turning over in my sleep and even rolling out of bed was painful during the first week. As the week passed, the majority of the soreness and bruising went away. By the end of the week I was eating solid foods and no longer using the pain medication.
I accepted a new job in Thousand Oaks and moved the next week from San Diego to Los Angeles with the help of a dear friend and his family. Dr. Pousti’s office was kind enough to reschedule my next follow-up visit on a Saturday when I could drive down from Los Angeles. I had another follow-up visit with the doctor one month after the surgery, and my recovery rate was better than both the doctor and I had expected. The doctor could tell I’d been working out.
One word of advice – get more than one compression garment. You’re required to wear them full-time (except to shower) for three months after the surgery, and my first garment is now ragged and has holes. I ordered two more compression garments to keep my original garment from getting too intimate with me.
It’s now March 2004, three months after my surgery, and I’ve already gone down one waist size. When I weighed this morning, the scale reported 208 pounds. My self-esteem is much better (back to my arrogant self) and I feel so much better about my body. I realize the doctor removed a “package” of fat, which might have never been removed by exercise alone due to a handicapped metabolism. The liposuction has helped my overall health and my self-image, as well as having long-term benefits (alleviating or eliminating type-2 diabetes later in my life).
The ongoing battle to maintain my weight will still be just as fierce as before. I have to work out regularly to keep the health and tone of my body, and my diet consists of eating small and healthy portions. Being “2-4″ slimmer in the waist is great incentive! If anything, the process has served to increase my resolution to one day get back to 192 pounds.
I’m scheduled for my last follow-up visit with Dr. Pousti this weekend. I’d recommend Dr. Pousti to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. He is frank and takes the time to listen. He provided an excellent overview of the pros and cons prior to the procedure. My opinion of Dr. Pousti is he’s an artist that enjoys his work. His staff was just as wonderful, with care and attention shown at every step. I’d like to think my research led me to him, but there must be a little god-given luck involved for a 45-year-old man to feel this good again about himself.
Long Beach, California
After having 3 pregnancies and 2 sets of twins as a surrogate mother, I had really put my body through the ringer. My stomach was full of stretch marks, I had a hernia, and my abdominal wall had been stretched beyond the natural limits. I had lost all the weight I had gained from the pregnancies however my stomach always looked like I was pregnant. I tried every workout, and diet and nothing worked, so I finally admitted to myself that surgery was the only way. Being in the medical field myself (OB/GYN) I was confident that I knew what I was looking for in a surgeon. After my husband and I met with Dr. Pousti I knew he was perfect. The minute I walked into the office I was greeted by his amazing staff, and I was called back before I even finished my paperwork. The entire time I was in his office for my consult I was either with his nurses or Dr. Pousti himself. He took the time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. During my physical consult I was very comfortable and he was very reassuring on the results that I wanted. I also loved the fact he didn’t try to sell me on other procedures that I didn’t ask for, or try to recommend other changes. I also got to meet with 3 other patients after their procedures and talk to them about their experiences which were all great.
I had the extended tummy tuck with lipo on my back to give me my curve back. The day of my procedure Dr. Pousti showed up on time, which if anyone knows that’s rare of some doctors, and asked if I had any questions and kept me completely eased. The surgery went great without any complications, and after my nurse, that his office suggested, took me back to my hotel room and gave my mom clear instructions and graphs of how to take care of me from positions to my medications. I am now 8 weeks post-op from my surgery and have bought my first swim suit in years, and even enjoyed the shopping trip. I now love to get dressed in the morning, and have all my self confidence back. Each day I wake up so happy that I made the decision to have the surgery and have Dr. Pousti as my doctor. I love him and everyone at his office they have taken such great care of me during the whole recovery process. They even called me regularly (including weekends) to check on me. I can honestly say the Dr. Pousti has changed my life.
